On the coast road between Kas and Kalkan behind a sharp curve, is located a 200-metre-long picture book beach: Kaputas. Turquoise and crystal clear water with superior water quality invites you after just 200 steps to cool off. This beach is really a secret; although you will find it on many covers of Turkey brochures, it is largely unknown.

Patara

12 kilometers of fine sandy beach and one of the most fascinating sand dunes around the Turkish coast are located in Patara. This holiday paradise is known as one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Turkey and the best part is, this beach is also relatively unknown. Only one stretch of 500m has people, a beach bar, sun beds and umbrellas. Anyone in search of a quiet spot need only walk another 500 meters and will find isolation. The beach owes its abandoned status to its classification as a nature protection area. No hotels or houses are allowed to be built nearby as it is a nesting place for sea turtles. Enjoy the solitude and a warm water bath with best water quality.
