Located on Istanbul’s European side, Maslak is one of Istanbul’s most important business areas. With businesses flourishing in the area, many brand new residential high rises, mixed development and luxury housing projects followed. Part of the Sariyer District, this formerly scarcely populated region is nearly unrecognizable from what it was just 20 years earlier.
Access to Maslak is fantastic. It is close to highways, public transport, sports, and cultural facilities, and chic shopping malls. It is close to Black Sea beaches, the Bosphorus, the Belgrade Forest, and the wonderful Ataturk Kent Orman with its forested area and walking trails.
The recent development has attracted international investment and the area is home to many multinational companies and local commercial institutions. Brand new state-of-the-art hospitals like Acibadem have also opened there. Getting around is easy with the Trans European Motorway, the E80, bus, and M2 metro all part of the area. Construction has started to link the new airport which is located about 30 minutes away by car.
The area offers a very urban vibe and a gorgeous skyline which has earned the area the nickname “Mashatten” inspired by Manhattan. The bustling streets will lead you to chic shopping spots like Istinye Park and VadiIstanbul with their international brands and eateries. Maslak is also becoming a culinary hub with many fantastic restaurants setting up branches there.
For recreation, you have easy access to nature or sports facilities to watch a game or work out. It is very kid-friendly with rope courses, ice skating rinks, and business catering to kids with activities galore. Many universities like MEF and Istanbul Technical University are located there drawing in young people and international students. There are many enjoyable opportunities for residents of Maslak and the area draws in people from all over the city. Modern, bustling and accessible Maslak is a fabulous place to live.
